Bitcoin delivery may take up to 12 hours after payment confirmation and compliance checks, depending on volume or additional verification requirements.
If it has been longer than:
1 hour
review the checks below before contacting support.
✅ Check the Recipient Email Address
Make sure the recipient email matches exactly what is shown in your 1Bitcoin.ca dashboard.
Even small spelling mistakes can delay processing.
🔑 Check Your Reference Code
Your unique Account ID or reference code must be included in the message field of your e-Transfer.
Without it, your deposit may not automatically connect to your account.

Refunds from cancelled Bitcoin withdrawals are issued as CAD e-transfers to the email linked to your account. These refunds are not credited to your in-platform balance. To access the funds:
Check your registered email: Locate the e-transfer sent to your email to claim the refunded amount.
Bank processing delays, weekends, holidays, or security reviews may occasionally slow down Interac e-Transfers.
