Auto-Buy allows incoming CAD deposits to automatically purchase Bitcoin and send it to your default whitelisted wallet address.
If you no longer want deposits to trigger automatic Bitcoin purchases, you can disable Auto-Buy from your profile settings.
βοΈ How To Disable Auto-Buy
To turn off Auto-Buy:
log into your 1Bitcoin.ca account
open your Profile
scroll to the Whitelisted Bitcoin Addresses section
locate the Auto Buy section underneath
disable or turn off the Auto-Buy setting
Once disabled, future CAD deposits will no longer automatically purchase Bitcoin.
π¬ What Happens After Auto-Buy Is Disabled?
After Auto-Buy is turned off:
CAD deposits will remain as CAD until you manually place an order
Bitcoin will no longer be automatically sent to your whitelisted wallet address
recurring automatic purchases will stop
Previously completed purchases are not affected.

Auto-Buy requires a default whitelisted Bitcoin address to function.
Before enabling Auto-Buy again:
verify your wallet address carefully
ensure you control the receiving wallet
double-check your whitelisted address settings
Bitcoin transactions are usually irreversible once sent.
