How Do I Withdraw Canadian Dollars Off 1Bitcoin.ca?

Have you sold some Bitcoin and now need to get your Canadians dollars back into your bank account? This page will help guide you through the steps necessary to get your money where you want it.


Step One:

Navigate to your 1Bitcoin Dashboard and select the "Withdraw" Button, highlighted below.


Step Two:

Select "Canadian Dollar" as the currency you are looking to withdraw.


Step Three:

This next page will give you all the information needed to make your withdrawal. Do not withdraw your money to any third party, or anyone that you do not know.

  1. This is the amount of Dollars you are looking to withdraw.

  2. The total CAD Balance you have on your account

  3. Clicking this button will set your withdrawal amount to your full CAD balance

  4. This is the method of withdrawal you are using.


Step Four:

Once you have clicked continue, you will be prompted to enter your Two-Factor Authentication code from either your Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar app. If you have lost this code, visit this article.


Step Five:

Once you have successfully entered your 2FA code, you will be shown a summary of your withdrawal before you submit. If your information is correct, you can click the 'Proceed' button at the bottom of the popup.

  1. This is your e-Transfer withdrawal email, it is the email address you have registered with your 1Bitcoin account, and is where your funds will be sent.


Step Six:

Your withdrawal request has been sent. Withdrawals can take up to one business day to process, we appreciate your patience in advance. Once your withdrawal has been processed, you will receive an email notification regarding the withdrawal.


If you have submitted your withdrawal and regretted withdrawing shortly afterwards, you have the opportunity to cancel your withdrawal by clicking on the transaction either in your recent transaction section, or on your transaction history page. At the bottom of the popup you will see a "Cancel Transaction" option that will credit your Bitcoin back to you.
