🚩 Common Bitcoin Scams

  1. Fake Tech Support
Scammers pretend to be 1Bitcoin.ca support and ask for your login info or remote access to your screen.

  2. “Guaranteed Return” Offers
If someone promises to double your Bitcoin, it’s a scam. No exceptions.

  3. Phishing Emails or Sites
Look-alike websites and emails that trick you into logging in. Always double-check the domain: 1Bitcoin.ca

  4. Romance & Investment Schemes
Someone online builds trust and then asks you to invest Bitcoin with them. Stop immediately.

✅ How to Stay Safe

  • We will never call or message you first. If someone says they’re from 1Bitcoin.ca and you didn’t reach out first—be cautious.

  • We will never ask for your password or 2FA code.

  • Use your own wallet. Never send Bitcoin to someone else’s “holding account.”

  • Check the URL. Only log in through https://1Bitcoin.ca
