Verifying Your Residence with 1Bitcoin.ca
Overview
As part of our tier 2 verification, clients are required to upload a proof of residence documentation to our platform. This step helps us ensure the safety and security of your account with us.
Requirements
It is required that this document contains the following information:
Your residential address (we do not permit P.O boxes as a residence)
The document is addressed to your registered name with us
The document is less than 90 days old upon submission
The full doc is visible and legible, preferably the original file from the issuer.
Acceptable Documents
The following documents are acceptable as a proof of residence:
Cellphone of Landline Bill
Utility Bill
Credit Card or Bank Statement
Record of Employment or Payslip
Tax Invoice from a Local Authority
Canada Post Change of Address Notice
Home or Car Insurance Bill
